Where We Started:

Jaun Fick and Wayne Rix both SAP R3 specialists and seasoned developers, started WEB Electronic Solutions and Technology, originally to fulfil the e-commerce / e-business and application development needs of PDS Consulting, our sister company and to create a SAP R3 Solutons Provider based on our experience. With the backing of over 20 years of IT experience between them, Jaun and Wayne grew the initial initiative into a full time E-commerce and Software development house. Since then it was decided that the core group would expand and in November of 1999 they started selling their SAP R3 Project skills as well as other Project solutions to the South African market. WEBest was incorporated on the 11th of April 2000.

Objective:

Our purpose is to supply affordable solutions to all levels of the business sector, from the largest corporate to the street corner vendor. This includes supplying the most up-date reliable and effective advice on design development, hosting, networks, implementation and support of all commerce, management and marketing needs.   This being our purpose and mission, we strive to deliver an above average service to all levels of business, and to be the best in the Corporate Market. Our constitution is based on solid Christian principles. Our motto is integrity and service, two ideals that we live, and work for.

STAFF:

WEBest makes use of young, motivated self-starters to ensure that we offer the skills to any given solution, problem or project. We have a compliment of full time staff that manage the daily necessities such as the hosting of storage servers and Application Servers, as well as the daily up keep of our web sites and project statistics. We also have a dedicated and knowledgeable sales and support team who offer a friendly and efficient way of doing business.
Although we have a number of highly skilled in house consultant we feel that introducing outside contractors allows us the freedom to obtain the best skills for any given situation.  As a result we are able to offer the best possible skills for each and every unique solution.

SKILLS:

We pride ourselves on the fact that we are able to cater for all areas of Project Management, Software design and development, due to the availability of a vast range of skills on a contract basis. Our core group has over 40 years of cumulative IT experience, working on corporate and mid-sized projects right through the implementation life cycle from design to support. We have signed off on projects in various architectural designs and platforms for a variety of organizations. As the group has access to a personnel agency and a consulting house (PDS Consulting), a wide variety of skills are available on short notice to be able to solve any kind of technical problem. The skills we have on board range from hardware and software support on single entity solutions to design and implementation of corporate business solutions.  We have UNIX experts as well as NT specialists. Developers that have worked on COBOL, Visual Basic, JAVA, C++, Delphi, Natural, PHP, ABAB, HTML pure and many more languages and on multiple platforms. Having a thorough understanding of mainframe platforms and corporate structures and being in a small and medium size concern we know how to make IT and Business work together.

We have made sure that it is the case with us by using the best solutions available in the market today. Our servers run on DELL equipment that have been set up to have full redundancy and reliability.
